Irish Wishful Wedding

The inspiration for this shoot was 2013 the year of THE GATHERING- The Gathering Ireland 2013 is a spectacular, year-long celebration of all things Irish.  We wanted to bring together a talented Irish creative team to flaunt the natural beauty of Irish Brides at Boyne Hill House and honour the artistic elegance of each suppliers detail that can enhance and personalise each Wedding Day.
We chose the shades of mint and teal in the invites (dusty boy design) as a nod to the Irish green and to link in with the wild landscape of Boyne Hill House.
The gown are individually designed by Sarah Foy with our model bride perfect pale Irish complexion in mind.
Hair jewels (rangolli.ie) and flowered crown(the informal Florist) gave the bride the sense of romantic occasion. The finer detail of hair (Lorraine Browne) and make up (Naomh Kirwan) enhancing the inherent irish beauty of the Bride.
Jordan the groom was the perfect nervous groom wearing paired back cap and braces, with his trusty best friend (Paul Kelly/photographers dog) by his side.
At the Desert table we wanted to create a family affair and sisters (little birds bake) gave us a yummy selection of traditional and contemporary cakes.
The wild romance of Boyne Hill House is captured in (Paul Kelly photographer) documentary style capturing laughter and moments of thought with moment of still pose.

On a bright freezing crisp cold day it all came together……….
