Stacey Hannan is one of Ireland’s leading bridal hair accessory designers. Stacey always had a passion for making pretty things. She completed her embroidery degree in the National College of Art and design, back in 2001. Since leaving college, Stacey has made headpieces and accessories for movies, theatre productions and Advert campaigns. She got a taste for designing wedding hair accessopries shortly after finishing college, and has not looked back.
Stacey makes beautiful handbeaded creations to adorn the head, from grecian style headpieces, to vintage style beaded bow headpieces, beaded floral hair combs and dainty hair pins.   Her work is timeless, and not just for brides. Stacey sees her pieces being worn not just on the wedding, but to a special event or occassion, or just to jazz up an outfit.
Stacey enjoys meeting her clients in her comfortable studio/showroom in Castleknock, Dublin 15. Her clients can discuss their look and try on lots of different pieces. Stacey can help to advise on colour options, and what piece will work with a particular hair style. She will do her best to create some hair styles, to get a better sense of a hair accessory in the hair. Generally, she likes around 4/6 weeks to make an order. But, will always get a piece made no matter the time frame. Stacey, believes it is important for the hair dresser to have the hair accessory for the hair. She feels It is important to have a plan of how and where you want the headpiece to sit. She always advise to take lots of pics of the placement of the piece, so on the big day, you are happy with the whole look. Stacey feels it is always good to bring a friend or family member along to the consultation, as it is always difficult to make decisions, on what you like.
