We met at a wedding last year! I loved how you were able to help the bride with everything, not just the hair!
I think we have looked after lots of bridal parties together and I’m sure there will be many more!
What inspires you?
Everything and anything. I love weddings, from the makeup to the dress to the table settings. I find the whole thing so beautiful and could look through images all day. Although, I could find inspiration from something random too! I recently bought a book because the colours screamed at me…… I haven’t any interest in reading it!
I also spend hours scrolling through instagram.
How did you break into the industry?
I applied for a job in Benefit when I was 18 and having just left school.
I didn’t think it would lead to anything other than a fun part time job but here we are, nearly 8 years later!
I’m a self trained artist so after a few years of building experience, I was delighted to focus my attention on bridal artistry.
It has always been my favourite style of makeup. I love the whole process, from designing a look with the bride in the trial stage, to then applying that makeup on the day itself.
It’s incredibly special to be there with a bride and her party on the morning of a wedding.
What is your favourite part of your job? Holding up a mirror to a bride (or any client!) and seeing their face genuinely light up when they see my work. I absolutely love it. I love meeting people too.
I have worked as a brow artist for the last 4/5 years so between that and makeup, I could chat to hundreds of clients over a few weeks or months!
 Over the last year, and because of not being able to do my usual work due to the pandemic, I have put all my energy into my instagram page.
I have really enjoyed exploring my creative side so you will see anything from mad colours or graphic liners, to gorgeous soft bridal looks.
I love the educational side of tutorials/demos so regularly upload these too.
When I’m back working on brows, keep an eye out for the most satisfying before & after pictures!
