I think the first time I’ve met Lorraine was a good few years back at the Wedding where she was the wedding hair supplier and I was assisting Danielle Mahon makeup artist at the time.

I remember I fell in love with Lorraine’s warm personality straight away and was fascinated by the amazing talent she has in hair styling.

Until this day I absolutely love following Lorraine’s work on social media and various magazines she’s published in.

What inspired you?

To be honest that’s the tough one to answer, as there’s so many big and little things that inspire me to do this job.. I love to see how a little bit of makeup gives every women a boost of confidence, how everything comes together for a bride on the morning of a Wedding and she leaves to marry the love of her life looking like the best version of herself.. I am inspired by other artists who make me want to always learn new things, keep improving my skills and stay curious in this every changing beauty industry.

How did you break into the industry?

Makeup and beauty was something I’ve had interest in since a very early age. I loved playing with my mam’s makeup and even painting my friends faces occasionally.

As a teenager I always dreamt of enrolling in beauty studies, but rather found myself studying and later graduating with a business degree.

Honestly at the time I didn’t believe this hobby of mine could  ever become my paid job or career. All this changed good 6 years ago when I have finally decided to follow my heart and joined a makeup college in Dublin.

Since graduating from makeup college I’ve just happened to be at the right place at the right time, meeting the right people and got busy with my new found career. I put a lot of work into it and I think this definitely paid off.

I love seeing how a little bit of makeup can change someone’s confidence levels, improve their mood or just make them feel a lot better about themselves.

I love sharing and educating girls/women about makeup and different techniques so they could learn to enhance their natural beauty and understand the power that makeup can give them.
