I invited a group of wedding vendors i admire to create a sweet wedding shoot in my local hotel THE HAMLET COURT here is a overview of images -I will be inviting each vendor for a interview and you can see indivually their amzing talents!

We took influences for Spring Summer 2015 catwalk shows and mixed it with vintage.
When you’re doing the vintage look its important – essential, in fact- to keep a modern vibe in there somewhere. A killer pair of heels, fierce nails, modern make up.  A bride would like to look back on her wedding pictures in 20 years and say I looked great! so vamp it up some contemporary edgy  accessories and watch out for that over vigorous vintage feel it can sneak up on you!
We worked with lace tea length gowns and dressed them with strappy heels and the perfect make up inspired by Dolce and Gabbana and Dior that subtle glow with a strong metallic lip and slightly pastel swan lake eyes. Hair  was all Don Draper loveliness big bouncy curls pinned into bob shapes with a powdery touchable finish.
The final details invites, signage and Cake are all influenced on 2015 trends fresh wild botanical and sweet Victorian character birds are a nod to the love letter/greeting cards from the 50’s.
Fragrance of the bouquet lily of the valley and lilacs. Spring is a botanical paradox it’s a season of renewal and birth the bite of winter is still sharp. So I’ve not strayed from nature and taken from what you would find in the garden -not only does this make financial sense but also a smell is the quickest journey back to a memory. Wouldn’t it be lovely to smell your wedding flowers everywhere on your anniversary each year?
It wouldn’t be spring without some outside food and drink its rude not to take advantage of any good weather we might get- it might even be against wedding law. So we have brought a few ideas that give you the taste of sweet sweet spring…..Candy floss, cool ice cream served from a vintage van, pink lemonade in mason jars and candy twist straws.
